Adam H. Sterling (born 1960) is a career member of the U.S. Senior Foreign Service. He notably served as U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia (2016-2019). Originally from New York City, Sterling grew up in Lawrence, Kansas. He went to Grinnell College in Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree.
